SaaS Sales Manager

Boats Group is growing and we are searching for a Sales Manager to join our team! In this role, you will drive revenue and sales growth by developing, coaching, and guiding a team of Sales Consultants to attain goals. You will be crucial to the success of the Core sales team, which is responsible for expanding Boats Group products and services by maintaining and growing a book of business. We are excited to bring someone on who will be a true leader and developer of our talented team!

 

What You’ll Do

  • Focus on achieving strategic goals and initiatives through the execution of sales programs and initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve retention targets and increase customer lifetime value
  • Monitor and report on team performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress towards targets and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Core sales team, setting performance goals, providing ongoing training, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Provide mentorship and focus to Sales Consultants on how to better manage and grow their accounts
  • Act as a second voice for escalation calls
  • Train personnel on how to effectively sell, service, and maintain customer base
  • Player/Coach approach to actively engaging in the teams success and willing to directly contribute to the team business goals
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment collaborating with the Marketing, Technology, and Product teams
  • Communicate important company initiatives and programs to the direct sales team
  • Interview, Hire, Motivate and Develop Sales Consultants

What You Should Have

  • 2-4 years experience managing a small team of sales professionals
  • Experience selling in digital advertising space required
  • Experience in the marine industry strongly preferred
  • Expertise in bringing cross-functional stakeholders together to advance retention goals, and helping other teams drive results through close collaboration
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving customer retention.
  • Business-to-business outbound cold calling sales techniques
  • Strong understanding and ability to speak to demonstrating value and ROI for customers of online advertising products
  • A strong drive for results with a desire to achieve targets and KPI's
  • Experience using a CRM, specifically Salesforce, with commitment and rigor
  • High degree of self-motivation and time management skills
  • Willingness to work on special projects as assigned
