Boatyard is an innovative tech company on a mission to revolutionize the boating world with our award-winning mobile app and SaaS software. Our platform connects boat owners with service providers, enabling seamless communication and service ordering through our Boatyard app and customer portals. The Boatyard for Business SaaS application empowers marine businesses to provide exceptional customer experiences with a user-friendly platform.

The Role:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented SaaS Sales Account Executive with a passion for technology and a minimum of 2 years of experience in SaaS sales or business development. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate leads, identify prospects, and close deals in the SaaS and marine industry sectors.
  • Manage and nurture a sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress and reporting on weekly metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to enhance the sales process and ensure a seamless transition for new clients.
  • Engage in high-volume outreach (40-50 calls/emails per day) to potential clients, utilizing CRM tools like Hubspot to track interactions and progress.
  • Contribute to the refinement of the product roadmap by providing feedback from the market and working closely with the product team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SaaS sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Hubspot.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey value propositions and engage with decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of the boating or marine industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A self-motivated, proactive approach to sales, with a willingness to embrace challenges and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
