Roving Property Manager - (Multifamily Housing)

Hello Property Management Professionals - are you ready for a change, looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further as Monarch Investment is actively interviewing for multiple experienced National Roving Property Managers!

The ideal candidate is located in the Kansas City area, but open to other areas by major airports!

We’re paying $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus discounted rent and a robust benefits package, along with an amazing company culture that fosters a sense of team spirit, collaboration, and growth.

You will be traveling throughout our nationwide portfolio, 21 states. Successful candidates must embrace a challenge and thrive under pressure, as they will be tasked with turning around under-performing properties.

A typical work schedule might be: ( 75% +/- Travel )

• 3 Weeks On/1 Week Off 
• 8-10 Hour Shifts Mon. – Fri. possible
• Weekends as needed during the above on schedule
• ALL travel expenses paid + per diem on travel days

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures by the property
• Operates property/s within their financial guidelines (The Budget)
• Completes all management reports
• Makes recommendations to increase income, decrease expenses and grow net operating income
• Ensures all property marketing is current, accurate and relevant
• Manage on-site team through hiring and coaching
• Consistently attempts to collect “Bad Debt” prior to write offs
• Responsible for building and maintaining a community of residents
• Ensures resident requests or complaints are responded to in a timely manner

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS:

• Should have 5+ Years’ management experience in Multifamily Housing
• Must have excellent computer skills and be able to navigate industry software (YARDI)
• Advanced knowledge of resident/property management laws/guidelines
• Ability to self-direct and to prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to effectively supervise and manage employees
• Excellent leadership skills, supervisory experience is a must
• Strong analytical, reporting, critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
