General Position Overview:
- Reviewing inspection reports in collaboration with the shop mechanics.
- Gathering labor and material costs required for repairs.
- Generating a repair work scope and submitting to outside sales or customer.
- Submitting purchasing requests to purchasing department
- Working with shop managers regarding work scope and delivery requirements to get job schedule to meet customer/quoted timelines.
- Following up on ordered components to ensure timely arrival of parts for repairs.
- Collaborating with the outside sales to advise them of any issues/delays associated with orders.

Education and Experience:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.
• Up to two years working in a Rotating Equipment Repair shop is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems required
• Must be familiar with and understand project specifications, engineered drawings, and takeoffs.
Please note: This position will be a full time in house at our Birmingham, AL location. We are not offering work from home options for this position.
