We can repair all makes and models of service pumps, rotation equipment, gear boxes, fans, blowers, and vacuums. General Position Overview:

• Reviewing inspection reports in collaboration with the shop mechanics.
• Gathering labor and material costs required for repairs.
• Generating a repair work scope and submitting to outside sales or customer.
• Submitting purchasing requests to purchasing department
• Working with shop managers regarding work scope and delivery requirements to get job schedule to meet customer/quoted timelines.
• Following up on ordered components to ensure timely arrival of parts for repairs.
• Collaborating with the outside sales to advise them of any issues/delays associated with orders.

Education and Experience:

•        Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.

•        Up to two years working in a Rotating Equipment Repair shop is a plus.

•        Knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems required

•        Must be familiar with and understand project specifications, engineered drawings, and takeoffs.

Please note: This position will be a full time in house at our Birmingham, AL location. We are not offering work from home options for this position.
