REMS (RAPID EXTRACTION MODULE SUPPORT)
Rapid Emergency Management is seeking EMTs and Paramedic that have experience working in wildland fire conditions to join our NEW REMS team. This 2-4 person team will be using a Polaris Ranger side-by-side medical UTV to assist in Fireline operations in mountainous conditions throughout the USA. This team can be deployed anywhere in the USA at a moments notice for various tasks which include:
- Reach and Treat
- Medical Evacuation
- Search & Rescue
- Recovery Efforts
Requirements for this position:
1. Must have national registry EMT or Paramedic
2. Must have TRRO or TRRT (Rope Technician Certification) or equivilent
3. Must have real-world experience in wildfires
4. Must have BLS CPR, and ACLS for paramedics
5. Must have taken S-130, IS-100, L-180, S-190 and be fireline qualified (we can issue red card and do pack test if needed)
This is a contract job and is considered "as needed".
Deployments will last up to 21 days.
No restrictions on where you live, we will pay for air travel and transport to get you to the desired location for work, and pay for return air travel and transport.
