Job Summary: As a Robotics Field Engineer at Snowbotix, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic systems in various field environments. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the successful integration and operation of robotic solutions for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of robotics systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy robotic systems at client sites according to project requirements.
- Conduct system integration and testing to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide on-site technical support for robotic systems during installation and operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with robotic hardware and software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement improvements to robotic systems.
- Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of field activities, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in robotics technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in field environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in robotics, engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience working with robotic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical skills in robotics hardware and software.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Python, or ROS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
