Job Title: Summer Recreation Supervisor
Rate of Pay: $13.00 per hour

2 Seasonal positions available with part-time, variable hours and no benefits.
Approximate employment period: June 2 through mid August (2024)
General Summary: Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator will perform a variety of supportive services for the operation of the Bay County Community Center Summer Recreation Program. Will manage and train 13 counselors for Summer Recreation duties, oversee children in the program and ensure safety, attend Bay City Public School summer meal certification program, oversee the distribution of breakfast and lunch. Maintain accurate records of food distribution. Develop daily /weekly programs and field trips for Summer Recreation campers. Knowledge of basic first aid. CPR certified preferred, but not required.

Qualifications: Experience in the following areas: Able to train and lead counselors, good communication, and good organizational skills. Knowledge of basic first aid. CPR certification preferred, but not required. Able to follow directives from Recreation Coordinator. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
