RN Staff Nurse/Radiation

Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting

License/Certification

• Valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing.
• American Heart Association BLS-HCP and CPI.
• OCN certification preferred but not required
• Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required

Note: A minimum of 2 years professional nursing experience is required for per diem, Flex-PRN positions.
