About us: Good Samaritan Medical Center is an acute-care, 267-bed Catholic hospital providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and Level III Trauma emergency services to Brockton and 22 neighboring communities. GSMC is the First and Only Level III Trauma Center in Massachusetts Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Region V.
ED Nurse Residency Program Details
Orientation: Monday, May 22th- Friday, May 26th ; 8am-4pm
Start date: Sunday, May 21, 2023 - July 29, 2023
Hours: 32hrs per week; variable days for 10 weeks
Interviews: On-site interviews
Additional Information:
ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certifications will be available for participants.
Must be available for duration of program, no pre-planned vacation allowed.
Residency participants will be eligible for benefits and must commit to one year of employment following the program
Participants will be offered full-time positions to move into at the conclusion of the program.

Candidate Qualifications:
Education: BSN Preferred
Previous Experience: One year RN, first-responder, or ED Tech/Aid experience required.
Other: Current MA RN License, BLS certification, and COVID vaccine required or approved exemption.
