The Emergency Department Nurse Transition to Practice program is designed for nurses with at least one year of acute care experience to develop their professional skills in a 20 bed Emergency Department but we will also consider newly graduated nurses for this role. Candidates must be able to commit to full time days for the duration of the program. After successful completion of the program, the work commitment will be a 36 hour per week night shift (7p-7a). The start is Monday, March 6 so apply today!
Qualifications:
- Preferred one year of RN experience in med surg, telemetry, or similar setting OR at least two years of experience as an EMT (intermediate or advanced), ED Tech, or paramedic. Will consider new graduates or other types of experience.
- Must be able to obtain ACLS, TNCC, and PALs within first 12 weeks of employment (certifications will be offered through Anna Jaques Hospital).
- Must have MA RN license before March 1, 2024.
