RN, Med Surge

Position: RN, Med Surge, Night Shift

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's team on a full-time basis as a Med Surge RN. As a Med Surge RN, you will provide quality patient care and support to patients on the medical-surgical unit.

Responsibilities:

- Assess and monitor patient's health status and respond to changes in condition

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

- Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required

Qualifications:

- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Med Surge RN

- BLS/CPR certification

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
