Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse oversees and participates in Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation processes. Employee Health Services is a collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates options and services required to meet an individual’s health needs. The Registered Nurse implements this process using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes. The Registered Nurse also administrates a multi-faceted occupational health program of preventative medical care and is responsible for monitoring hospital employees and volunteers, as well as outside clients for health related situations.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 1-3 years experience
- Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee.
