Job Opening Summary
The Employee Relations Manager assists leaders in the development and enhancement of Human Resources policies, procedures and actions that affect condition of employment. Through the management of two Employee Relations Coordinators, will ensure all workplace investigations, employee inquiries and concerns are resolved in a timely manner. The ER Manager will establish open communication with staff and leaders through monthly department rounding and meetings. Will serve as liaison for all areas of Human Resources, providing resources, promotion of information and other materials through internal and external communications, along with extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Supports the department in the areas of specific knowledge through report generation, demographic information analysis and research. The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for providing professional support to all team members within the system through handling and documentation of complex investigations, providing coaching and counseling to leadership to resolve employee issues. The ER Manager will oversee the accuracy of the corrective action process, unemployment claims and other duties as assigned.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
- Must be proficient in the use of MS Office products (Publisher, Excel, Adobe, etc.).
- Prefer 5-7 years of experience in human resources with demonstrated ability in the areas of customer service, critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills (both oral and written) with poise, tact and diplomacy.
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in the human resources field, preferably in health care environment.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
Shift hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday
