- Schedule clinical procedures.
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures.
- Completes required EOC rounds.
- Monitor results from diagnostic testing and send to ordering physician as appropriate.
- Interacts with patient(s) and informs him/her of results per physician instructions; responsible to order additional testing or schedule follow-up appointments, as necessary.
- Answer incoming calls and answer messages from patients regarding medical concerns.
- Process requests for prescription refills through EMR.
- Perform POC testing as ordered, per policy.
- Compile orders, reports, and labs for hospital procedures and fax to appropriate destination.
- Ensure all processes at responsible physician practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies (ie; OSHA, ODH, BOP, TJC, etc.)
- Active current Registered Nurse License in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred
- 3 years’ experience working in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting
- Previous EMR experience, preferred
- 1+ years of experience direct related to patient care
