- Daily VaR Reporting
- Management reporting of credit/market risk exposures and key risk indicators
- Prepare Risk Weekly/quarterly/monthly slides and presentations
- Assist with disclosures, press releases and firmwide quarterly data mining, analysis, coordination and reporting
- Provide support to the Credit/Market Risk Officers and work closely on global initiatives
- Update procedure documents as needed and document new procedures
- Assist in AdHoc projects pertaining to risks, risk statistics, trading activities, risk monitoring and other initiatives
- Involve in IT projects, database and risk infrastructure development.
- Ability to discuss and relay information on data analysis to market/credit risk managers
- Work on new projects as directed
- Work with third party applications concerning reporting and risk analytics
- Utilize and learn third party pricing engines, such as Risk Metrics to execute daily functions
- Monitoring counterparty exposures and performance
- Managing credit risk exposures, including country exposure and impaired assets
- Ability to write and troubleshoot VBA, Automation of existing reports, reducing the risk of manual error
- Ability to write and update SQL queries.
- Must be hands on and have the initiative to take on multiple projects, tasks and duties within a given time frame
Technical Skills
- Degree educated: Financial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer, Mathematics, Science or Finance
- Knowledge/ability to construct, develop and maintain tactical tools
- Advanced Excel & VBA
- Good Microsoft Access & VBA skills
- Experience of working with large datasets and manipulation of data in Excel
- Experience with writing and updating SQL Queries
- Good Microsoft Power Point skills
- Ability to navigate systems, access data and identify discrepancies
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Multitasking, Time Management, Organized, strong client relationships, excellent communication
- Understand financial math, risk concepts, Risk Operations, quick learner on systems.
- Risk systems experience
- Python / R knowledge / experience
- SharePoint
- Knowledge of fixed income, equities, market, credit risk is advantageous
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000.
