- Assist in managing the Senior Risk Manager's calendar by scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prioritize and organize the daily schedule to optimize time management.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages on behalf of the Senior Risk Manager.
- Respond to or delegate inquiries and communicate important information to relevant parties.
- Prepare and review documents, reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence on behalf of the Senior Risk Manager.
- Coordinate, schedule, and plan meetings, both internally and externally.
- Prepare agendas, collate necessary materials, and ensure the Senior Risk Manager is well-prepared for meetings.
- Arrange travel logistics, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries for business trips and events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and handle matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other executives, partners, and vendors.
- Manage and track expenses, including processing reimbursement requests and maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including ordering supplies, managing files, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Serve as point person to issue certificates of insurance.
- Monitor and submit material changes in exposure values to our brokers.
- Participate in policy year end audits and true ups.
- Consolidate all insurance related billing.
- Audit bills for correctness and submit for processing.
- Prepare and keep financial statements for all captive activities. Schedule and report newly opened or acquired locations with our brokers. Performs financial analysis and assesses health of captive operations relative to premium collection by the business units.
- Accounting Background.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
- Able and willing to take direction and feedback.
- Comprehensive understanding of business contracts and ability to interpret complex legal language.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
