SalaryPurpose of Job: Center of competence for Post-lending monitor and market risk report as well as risk data management.
Primary responsibilities:
· Monitoring risk data quality to ensure accuracy of risk reports.
· Preparing various HO/branch monthly/quarterly risk management related reports.
· Working with credit risk officers to perform asset classification on a monthly basis, and downgrading credit when abrupt risk event takes place.
· Forecasting branch asset quality and budgeting loan loss reserve on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
· Monitoring branch risk appetite indicators on a monthly basis as required by HO.
· Participating in special projects to develop and enhance existing risk management infrastructure and framework such as risk database/system and portfolio monitoring tools.
· Head Office monthly market risk reporting across all Treasury products.
· Branch Interbank/Counterparty limit setup, maintenance and monitoring across all treasury products.
· System validation of treasury daily activities, including money market, foreign exchange, bonds, repo, etc.
· Monitoring of fair market price of money market, foreign exchange and bond trades.
· Daily monitoring of FX, CCS, IRS margin levels.
· Serve as a backup for other risk management functions as needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering or related subject with prior working experiences in banking or major financial institutions.
· Strong analytical skills with adaptive mindset, a quick learner.
· Proficiency in Tableau, Bloomberg, knowledge of Python and SQL.
· Proven experience in working collaboratively across organization, being a good team player.
· Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese.
· Able to prioritize and multi-task; Demonstrate strong integrity, flexibility and acceptability.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
