In this role the Risk Analyst II will be responsible for preparing and providing data and analysis to identify exposures and risks; recommending strategies for reducing costs and transferring risk; collaborating with various internal teams and external business partners; and communicating relevant information to leadership. The Risk Analyst II will work with accounting, financial planning and forecasting teams, in addition to the ALDI claims and risk operations teams. The ideal candidate will have specific and advanced experience working with Excel, particularly in managing and analyzing large amounts of data. Familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) is a plus. A bachelor’s degree and progressive experience in Risk Management, Safety or Legal Services is required. The objective of this role is to recommend creative solutions that contribute to a reduction in incident related costs to the company.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Prepares, analyzes, and compiles accident data to support risk management projects and objectives.
• Executes Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Auto Liability, and/or Property Claims Management projects from their assignment through implementation.
• Assists in evaluation of feasibility, effectiveness and efficiency of projects and initiatives.
• Prepares and updates project plans and proposes milestones and deadlines for new and ongoing initiatives.
• Performs monthly reports and key performance indicators.
• Assists in analyzing current working procedures and in identifying best practices.
• Interacts with various parties involved in the claim process.
• Prepares and provides data and analysis to identify exposures and risks; recommends strategies for reducing costs and transferring risk.
• Understands and analyzes emerging risks or mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Risk, Safety Management, Business Administration or a related field required.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Risk Management, Safety or Legal Services required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
