- Perform calibrations, adjustments, and basic repairs.
- Generate calibration reports, characterization reports, and certificates of conformance.
- Set up software to run test and calibration sequences in accordance with IEC, ISO, and CISPR standards.
- Ensure equipment is properly documented, accessorized, and ready for shipment.
- Support system orders with multiple pieces of equipment.
- Identify missing accessories and ensure they are replaced.
- Evaluate/ repair equipment for used purchases, rental pool, and customers.
- Support customers and staff with EMC applications.
- Develop calibration procedures and templates when needed.
- Facilitate outsourced calibrations/ repairs.
- Possible on-site visits to customers within North America may needed depending on circumstances.
- Minimum four years experience in test equipment calibration and repair.
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, LISN's CDN's Field probes, and RF current probes.
- Characterization on antennas.
- Experience with RF chambers and enclosures.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), internet research, data entry, Google Drive, etc.
- Familiarity with EMC test standards.
- Working knowledge of ISO/ IEC 17025 and ANSI/ NCSL Z540-1 requirements.
- Experience in interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer service experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot with minimal or no documentation.
- Good communication skills - working with manufacturing technicians.
