Electrical Engineer: RF/Microwave Specialist
Role Overview:
Join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in RF module and integrated Microwave pallet design. This pivotal role involves steering the lifecycle of RF/MW power electronics subsystems from ideation through to validation, closely collaborating with R&D for seamless system integration.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development of RF/MW power electronics subsystems, from conceptual design to production-ready assemblies.
- Spearhead RF/MW electromagnetic design, simulation, and testing initiatives, supporting the R&D team.
- Ensure transparent and effective communication with engineers, technicians, and managers.
- Drive continuous improvement across product lines, tackle supply chain challenges, and mitigate risks.
- Characterize and optimize particle accelerator and plasma source subsystems in alignment with specifications.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- You hold a Bachelor's or higher in Electrical or RF/Microwave Engineering, backed by 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- You possess a minimum of 3 years in electrical/electronic roles, showcasing proficiency in circuit design, layout, and BOM tools such as Altium/KiCAD.
- Your expertise extends to mechanical design interfacing (e.g., SolidWorks), high-voltage RF electronics (LDMOS/GaN), and advanced simulation tools (LT SPICE or equivalent).
- You are adept with microwave test equipment, embody a hands-on approach to technology, and are driven by a passion for innovation.
Senior Level Expertise (NOT A MUST HAVE):
- With 7+ years in electrical/electronic work, your skills encompass PCB layout, RF/microwave circuit design, and 3D electromagnetic simulation (Sonnet, COMSOL, CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS).
- Your background includes high-voltage design (>1kVdc), analog/digital communications, and a robust understanding of RF/Microwave Electromagnetic Simulation and Antenna Design & Fabrication.
- Experience with high-power RF systems, microwave circuits, and compliance with international standards (UL, CAS, SEMI, IEC, CE) is highly valued.
