General Purpose:
Supervise and direct all repair, rework, and Refurbishment Operations within the Corsair Atlanta (Duluth) facility. This will require management of teams of operators to ensure Rework and repair operations are being done efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with Corsair guidelines and operating procedures.
The role requires working cross functionally with a range of internal partners to ensure ongoing alignment of priorities, appropriate revisions of controls and procedures, and regular publication of key metrics, milestones, and barriers requiring escalation or assistance. Key partnerships will be made with corporate reverse logistics management, customer service teams, as well as other warehouse and manufacturing operating functions within the Atlanta facility.
Assist management and other constituents in determining and measuring the appropriate key metrics for all work conducted, including efficiency metrics, inventory aging metrics, cost of conversion metrics, among others. Ensure ERP transactions are done accurately and quickly to represent the work being done, and become a subject matter expert on the necessary transactions and how to process them.
Effectively allocate resources across functions and tasks to support current priorities or special projects.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Lead & manage teams of operators responsible for conducting rework operations in facility. Proactively manage staffing levels across various functions including managing hiring requirements and reallocation of resources as needed to achieve necessary tasks.
Understand Corsair operating procedures and disposition directives and ensure accurate and efficient execution of those procedures.
Measure and publish performance using key performance metrics. Represent those metrics to partners and executives with clear and concise communication around successes, gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
Understand ERP transactions in support of operations and ensure up to date documentation of transactions, and ensure accurate and timely transactions are being done to support ongoing work.
Provide primary point of contact in the Atlanta facility for questions from cross functional teams regarding repair and rework operations. Develop strong working relationships and represent your responsibilities with customer service, product and quality engineering, manufacturing, warehouse, and procurement teams.
Propose, gain cross functional alignment, and implement process improvements as necessary to achieve better efficiency or quality results.
Coordinate with planning and procurement on materials required to complete necessary tasks. Manage associated component inventory accurately.
Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability goals related to reverse logistics processes.
Identify opportunities for automation and implement technology solutions to enhance reverse logistics operations.
Develop and implement reverse logistics programs and strategies to streamline the return process and maximize efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in reverse logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Fluent English and good communication skills.
Positive personality, aggressive, passionate, independent, can deal with pressure and dynamic priorities.
Highly organized, analytical, ability to motivate and manage others
Familiar with MS Office software like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio/Project
Familiar with operating in an ERP environment. Oracle experience a major benefit.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulations related to reverse logistics is a plus.
