What Are We Looking For?
UCI is currently looking for a Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance and Quality team. Under the direct supervision of the Compliance/Privacy Officer, the Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team, legal counsel, department heads, and staff to enforce all Revenue Cycle Compliance and privacy policies, including state and federal regulations (Stark Law, HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, HHS, etc.). This role assists with administration of the compliance program. The Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor monitors key Revenue Cycle Compliance controls, audits compliance with controls, reports to management about effectiveness of controls, and makes suggestions for improvements as necessary. The Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor prepares reports for management regarding Revenue Cycle audits and activities; and creates and implements training as necessary to Revenue Cycle staff, providers, and in-center staff (clinical / clerical).

Do You Have What It Takes?
A good candidate will bring with them:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Management/Administration, or related field
- CPC, CPB, or CPMA coding certification
- Three (3) or more years of Revenue Cycle Compliance experience
- One (1) or more years of auditing experience
- Knowledge of governmental and private payer payment practices and laws
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience providing training, guidance, and presentations relative to compliance measures in healthcare
An ideal candidate would also have:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Management/Administration, or related field
- Five (5) or more years of Revenue Cycle Compliance experience
- One (1) or more years of Revenue Cycle auditing experience
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance
