Revenue Accounting Manager

This is a great opportunity to spearhead the evolution of a hyper growth series B company's revenue processes into the future. As a key member of the Finance team, you will play a crucial role in owning and optimizing all revenue processes. Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all technical and operational aspects of Revenue Accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Provide guidance and expertise on complex technical accounting matters related to revenue recognition and other operational aspects of order-to-cash
• Develop and interpret revenue recognition policies and procedures in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting guidelines
• Analyze financial transactions and contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment to ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards
• Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency in revenue reporting and analysis
• Lead the revenue close and reporting activities
• Support implementation and administration of Netsuite
• End to end ownership of billing/AR
• Continue to streamline and develop scalable processes and policies for revenue recognition for complex transactions

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• 2+ years of NetSuite admin experience required
• In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and related technical accounting standards
• Familiarity with SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and revenue streams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve complex issues, and drive best practices
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team member, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in an agile, often ambiguous, environment 
• Adept at manipulating large data sets

• The expected base compensation for this role is between $115,000 - $150,000 as a base pay for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience level, transferable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
