Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including revenue recognition and expense accruals

- Perform double entry bookkeeping and maintain general ledger accounts

- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations

- Initial contact with new clients – send new paperwork and w9. Complete new client onboarding paperwork as requested.

- Add new jobs / projects to QB and estimates as needed.

- Upload documentation into QB for jobs (SOW, Budget, PO).

- Receive, acknowledge and enter client purchase order information into BQE CORE and QB.

- Maintain knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and apply them to revenue recognition processes

- Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate reports

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis

- Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping principles

- Experience with accounts receivable processes and reconciliations

- Thorough understanding of GAAP and its application to revenue recognition processes

- Proficiency in using accounting software for transaction recording and report generation
