In our continued transformation from a real estate company to a customer experience company, we are seeking a Retail Success Managerwho will lead our practice of onboarding and driving success with new, emerging, and DTC retailers. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Merchandising with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger's hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.
About the Role:
As the Retail Success Manager, you will be accountable to build our enterprise approach to develop and execute our go-to-market plans and measure success on an ongoing basis. You will work closely with the commercial planning, leasing, business development and digital transformation teams.

How you will contribute to what we do:
SUPPORTING AND PLANNING FOR NEW STORE OPENINGS (50%)
  • Lead enterprise development of toolkit for success for all new brands to the portfolio in the first year of opening.
  • Manage submission of all creative jobs along with aligning on key stakeholders' timelines.
  • Create all launch and re-support collateral including e-mails, signage, digital support, and on-site signage for all new openings to the centers.
  • Oversee digital store set up on national and local center pages to ensure all information is accurate and retailer is aligned with brand depiction. Along with creating retailer account access and maintaining accuracy of this information.
  • Lead communication and alignment on social activations for the retailer. This includes recommendations on how best to support and communicates to commercial and field team.
  • Travel for events and training as needed.

FIELD OPERATIONS SUPPORT (30%)
  • Educate each center's management teams on these specific retailers including financial objectives, sales success plans, and overview of the brand.
  • Brainstorm opportunities with marketing directors and help in executing relevant activations.
  • Evaluate activations after completion to determine effectiveness and areas of improvement if program is to be repeated. Determine if program/promotion hit success criteria

MEASUREMENT AND REPORTING (20%)
  • Deliver sales reporting and insights on performance and makes ongoing strategic refinements.
  • Host monthly calls to drive growth and mutual accountability with new and direct to consumer brands
  • Nurture and develop short- and long-term plans to deliver forecasted growth for retailers.
  • Develop framework for identifying growth potential with leasing and creating a series of playbooks that align to our footprint and revenue expectations.

About You:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Analytics and you have three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in a professional or corporate environment
  • You excel at establishing positive professional working relationships with internal and retail partners.
  • You can assess and build sales driving plans with high customer relevancy.
  • You possess a "Take Charge" attitude with a comfort level working autonomously.
  • You have a strong attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft suite of applications and have advanced skills in PowerPoint.
  • You can data mine information and create actionable outputs.
