Job Overview: Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at one of the three exquisite boutiques nestled within the scenic Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our guests. This can be a full-time, year-round position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and picturesque environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product knowledge and assistance in helping customers make informed purchase decisions.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked and attractive display.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets.
- Stay informed about product trends, promotions, and resort events.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor.
- Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Bend, stoop, and reach to organize and maintain the sales floor.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable using ladders and step stools for visual merchandising purposes.
- Ability to engage in verbal communication to assist customers and collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
