Location: Glen Burnie, MD near BWI Airport
Job Type: Part Time (15-30 hours per week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Sales and Processing Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our retail location and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have retail or e-commerce experience, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in our retail location, providing product information, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize our POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Test and sort merchandise according to established guidelines.
- List items on various e-commerce platforms such as eBay and Facebook Marketplace, optimizing listings for maximum visibility and sales.
- Maintain organized inventory records using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new e-commerce systems and platforms.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting over 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues courteously and professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or e-commerce is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new e-commerce systems and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment while also interacting with the public.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
