Gensler Gardens is a small family-owned business with two locations in the Rockford area. We grow our own plant material and our goal is to provide quality plants to our customers and provide them with a good experience.
Gensler Gardens is looking to find self-motivated Customer Service Representatives to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing outstanding Customer Service, including assisting customers in finding products and offering sales assistance. The Retail Customer Service Representative must also be familiar with store policies, be willing to work flexible hours and have an eye for detail. Applicants should be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time and performing physical labor in a greenhouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Establish contact with customers via telephone and provide information.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding merchandise and services.
- Process sales transactions using Point of Sale (POS) computer system.
- Use POS to process payment of credit cards, check cards, and gift cards.
- Establish a relationship with the customers that will lead to repeat business.
- Help maintain plant material.
- Being a team player, stepping in and helping with whatever job needs to be done.
- Accountability is a MUST.
- Being available to work between the hours of Monday - Saturday: 9am - 6pm and Sunday: 10am - 5pm. Being able to work at least one weekend day each week is requested.
Hosting Open Interviews at the Loves Park location for both locations on March 21 - 22, 2024 from 9am - 5pm. If these times do not work for you, please call and set up an interview for a different time.
