Restaurant Server - El Bait Shop

SERVER - EL BAIT SHOP

El Bait Shop is located in Downtown Des Moines and features over 250 craft beers on tap. We are looking to hire experienced, craft beer loving servers and bartenders to add to our staff for the Summer (and beyond!).

We are seeking hard working, reliable, and friendly individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment to create a memorable and positive experience for our guests, while providing recommendations and answering questions. Beer knowledge is preferred but we will train the right individuals.

Night and weekend availability required. We currently have part-time and full-time hours available.

El Bait Shop is a hub of activity in the Spring and Summer months - High School State Tournaments, Iowa Cubs Baseball, Farmers Market, Summer Concerts, and located off several bike trails.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff, management and other service staff
• Must work quickly and accurately, while still maintaining attention to detail
• Desire to go the extra mile to ensure a great guest experience
• Must be able to work well in a team setting
• Engage with guests to help them make food and beverage choices
• Answer questions or make recommendations
• Willingness to work both indoor and outdoor shifts
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
