- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Process payments using the POS system and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas

- Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and ability to handle food safely
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Kitchen coordination: Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for handling payments and making change accurately
- Food safety: Understanding of proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards
- OpenTable: Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is a plus
- POS system: Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing and payment handling
