We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at a busy hotel restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in banquet, bartending, catering, coffee, and food production. As the Assistant Manager of the restaurant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Create schedules for staff and ensure that they are adhered to
- Train new employees and ensure that they are properly trained in all aspects of the restaurant
- Manage budgets and financial statements for the restaurant
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase business
- Ensure that all food safety regulations are followed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
