FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for passionate people to work in a team that provides an exceptional guest experience. Reporting to the Chef, the Sous Chef is responsible for studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. The Sous Chef also assist the Chef with the supervision of the team, sanitation and safety, and all related production activities.

REQUIREMENTS
- One year experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Ability to work effectively within a team with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of the menu.
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Assists with the supervision of employees, sanitation and safety, menu planning, and related production activities.
- Trains new and existing staff.
- Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal, and flavor of foods.
- Assists with controlling food and payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability.
- Personally works in any station assigned by the Executive Chef.
- Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair & upkeep of the kitchen and its equipment.
- Prepares reports and performs administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

DESCRIPCION DEL PUESTO DE TRABAJO:
Estamos buscando gente que trabaje en equipo y tenga una fuerte orientacion al cliente, que pueda cocinar comida de calidad y se esmere en brindar una experiencia única a nuestros clientes.
El SOUS CHEF reportara al chef, siendo responsable del cumplimiento de las recetas, colaborar con el armado del menú y supervisión del equipo de trabajo para poder lograr la elaboración de platos de gran calidad. Tambien controlara las normas de limpieza, seguridad y todo aquello necesario para asegurar la producción diaria.
BENEFICIOS:
- Salario: Comenzando $55,000-65.000 al año segun experiencia.
- Bonus segun performance
REQUERIMIENTOS:
- Un ano de experiencia en un restaurant similar (no excluyente).
- Habilidad para trabajar en un equipo de trabajo amigable con una actitud entusiasta.
- Organizar la cocina con todos los insumos y equipos necesarios para la producción del dia.
- Estudiar cada receta y capacitar al equipo de trabajo.
- Supervisar al equipo para asegurar la produccion diaria en tiempo y forma.
- Entrenamiento del equipo existente y de los nuevos miembros del equipo.
- Mantener constantemente los estandares de calidad, costo, presentacion y sabor de los platos.
- Asistir al chef con el control de los costos de comida y empleados para asegurar una máxima rentabilidad.
- Trabajar personalmente en las estaciones asignadas por el chef.
- Realizar recomendaciones de manteimiento y reparacion de los equipos de cocina.
- Preparar reportes y trabajos adminstrativos asignados por el chef.
- Contralar el inventario diario de productos.
- Idioma espanol- ingles.
