SalaryMamita Cocina Mexicana is looking for a dynamic and well experience General Manager. We are opening soon in Walnut Creek. Individual must have a strong understanding of restaurant operations. 7+ years of experience as GM with strong knowledge of business financials P&L. Be able to recruit key team members and train and inspire staff. A successful GM will have a strong sense of responsibility, an ability to lead a team and produce results. General Manager’s are responsible for:
* Strong focus on guest satisfaction
* Managing/leading activities of the staff
* Proactively executing flawless customer satisfaction
* Inspiring the staff to look at job responsibilities through the guest perspective
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 7 years experience in a high-volume upscale dining
* Proactive guest issue prevention/guest relations skills
* Knowledge of restaurant POS system management operations
* An open availability is desirable (days, nights, weekends)
* Must be committed to our mission and culture
Typical Responsibilities:
*Manage daily operations in a high-volume environment
*Ensure company policies and procedures are met
*Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff
*Inventory, ordering and upholding restaurant maintenance and appearance
*Demonstrated leadership skills
*Guest-focused and service-driven
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
