As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the business affairs of the restaurant, including the development of the management team and staff, maintaining high food quality, ensuring safety and sanitation standards, driving marketing efforts, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including banking, cash control, record maintenance, and purchasing. Ensure invoice accuracy and cost control in food and labor expenses, adhering to safety and sanitation practices.
- Financial Accountability: Manage financial performance in line with budgets, providing weekly financial reports and implementing operational changes to improve profitability.
- Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, and develop management and staff, ensuring understanding of roles and responsibilities. Foster a supportive and efficient work environment, ensuring all training and orientation processes are thorough and comprehensive.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to food quality standards, ensuring all products and supplies meet BPR expectations and recipes and methods are consistently applied.
- Safety and Sanitation: Prioritize guest health and safety by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety practices, in compliance with BPR and local health department guidelines.
- Sales and Marketing: Stay informed of industry trends and utilize promotions, local advertising, and community involvement to drive sales and enhance the brand’s presence.
