- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

- Participates in educational activities and departmental meetings.
- Documents and maintains records, charts and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performs all procedures according to policy and procedure. Organizes workload to ensure therapy is completed as prescribed.
- Special trained -Performs Pulmonary Functions, Spirometer, EKGs, Sleep Watch Program
- Exercises sound clinical judgment and assessment skills to provide for appropriate provision of patient care and monitoring and communication of information to other caregivers.
- Evaluates patient care and makes recommendations when needed.
- Perform Pulmonary Function Test on Patient daily.
- Perform 6 minute in office if necessary.
- If needed will help in CPAP clinic to support other staff. Will set up New CPAP patients if needed.
- Will follow up on CPAP patients as needed to check for compliance.
- Will help with CMN's in office if needed.
- Instruct and Teach patients about their inhalers and the importance of using the inhalers.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
HOURS:{ (8:00- 5pm) on Monday-Thursday } Friday (8:00-2:30)
Qualifications/Training:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Respiratory Care
- Participation in the National Board for Respiratory Care's (NBRC) Continuing Competency Program to maintain credential if received credential after July 1, 2002
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Care Practitioner by the SC Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS certification
