```Responsibilities```
- Perform respiratory therapy assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients
- Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide airway management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in medical records
```Requirements```
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification
- Proficient in airway management techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the respiratory system
- Experience working in critical care areas such as the ICU or pediatrics is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Familiarity with ventilators and other respiratory equipment
