Resort Shuttle Driver - Spencer Street Resort

Shuttle Driving from Resort to Harrah's Casino plus additional resort responsibilities, such as assisting with Laundry and Common Area duties when not driving. $15 plus any overtime afternoon and evening shifts - weekends required.

The Operations Associate is responsible for completing daily resort functions. Ensuring that all Owners and Guests receive efficient and courteous service; making them feel welcome during their entire stay through a proactive and positive attitude. The Operations Associate also completes special projects and duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs daily Front Desk functions such as guest check-in and–out, answering phones, completion of shift checklist, processing related transactions, etc.
  • Assists in inspecting condominium units, ensuring they are clean, functional, and sanitized for owners and guests.
  • Assists in servicing of condominium units, and cleaning and sanitizing units for owners and guests.
  • Valid driver's license to drive the resort shuttle.
  • Directs owner and guest requests to the correct department. Responds courteously, efficiently, and professionally to guest service requests.
  • Delivers items to owners and guests occupying units at the resort.
  • Performs light administrative duties such as sending a receiving faxes, making copies, and sending e-mail correspondence.
  • Greet, register, establish necessary credit for, and issue keys appropriately to guests.  
  • Answer telephones/PBX with proper telephone etiquette and direct calls accordingly. 
  • Receive guest requests and/or complaints and ensure that appropriate actions have been taken.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to the resort's amenities, services, policies, area attractions, dining, and directions.
  • Communicate with other departments as needed via telephone and two-way radio. 
  • Completed check-out procedures, computes bills, collects payment, and makes change for guests as required.
  • Distributes guest and staff mail and messages as necessary.
  • Post charges for faxes, copies, or laundry or charges from the food, beverage, or convenience store outlets.

What You’ll Bring:
  • State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
  • Creativity and customer obsession.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to learn new programs such as company reporting and associate timekeeping.
  • Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement).
  • One year of experience in customer service or recreation preferred.
  • Depending on the location, one or more of these certifications: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card.
