EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher preferred
- Or college credentials
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ years of customer service/data entry experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in WMS
- Strong sense of urgency
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to wear PPE as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Critical thinker and possess problem solver abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Walk and stand up to 6 hours at a time
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
- Deciphers customer requests and enters into the Global Project Management (GPM) System.
- Accurately enters data in GPM and verifies other DSA’s work within the system or any other WMS.
- Contacts both internal and external clients with issues that may arise and answers general questions regarding shipments.
- Responsible for timely order entry and delivery of clinical study materials and clinical supplies to distribution facilities, customer affiliates, and/or investigator sites globally.
- Identifies discrepancies as they arise and uses problem-solving abilities. Reports reasons for discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Ability to respond to and/or communicate using emails or other software on a professional and on a timely manner.
- Tracks non-executable order issues
- Serves as a troubleshooter and resolves problems inherent in order processing issues. Seeks advice/input on more complex problems.
- Interacts with cross-functional support teams (Client Services, Distribution, QA, IT etc.).
- Recognizes strategic opportunities for process improvement within the Logistics group.
- Establishes clear timelines for accomplishing goals.
- Independently solves routine problems/issues. Seeks advice/input on more complex problems.
- Participate, lead, and drive Continuous Improvement – PPI (Practical Process Improvement) events by encouraging employees to enter JDIs (Just Do Its) and perform Gemba’s
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision of the 4 I’s: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
- Conducts all activities safely and efficiently.
