Form of workCountryPlace Mortgage is a nationwide personal property and mortgage lender. We are looking for a Residential Mortgage Processorto join our loan production team in our Plano, TX office. This role plays a crucial part in our growing production unit analyzing loan applications for the appropriate credit decision adhering to investor guidelines.
As a Residential Mortgage Processor at CountryPlace Mortgage Ltd., you will collaborate with Loan Originators, Loan Processors, Underwriting, Compliance team and other essential departments. Manage a pipeline of Residential Mortgage loans for optimal output and accuracy. You will assist in contributing to the continuous improvement of processes with a focus on our borrowers and retail partners.
The position is located in office in Plano, TX.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing Residential Mortgages- FNMA, FHA and Conventional loans.
- Analyze and evaluate all aspects of borrower credit, employment, income and asset profile ensuring that all bank, investor and regulatory standards are met prior to underwriting submission.
- Review title commitment, appraisal and validate required disclosures meet investor guidelines and standards.
- Review and clear all processing loan conditions.
- Comprehensive understanding of investor requirements relating to Manufactured Housing.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain compliance policies in accordance with industry regulations.
- Ad hoc projects as requested
- Take an active role by making recommendations for continuous process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy within a fast paced environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Required processing experience with a HUD direct endorser and Ginnie Mae mortgage-backed issuer.
- BA/BS degree required
- 3+ years of FHA, FNMA and Conventional loan processing experience.
- Strong writing skills with expertise in proper English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Manufactured Housing industry experience a plus.
- Experience with VA, Freddie, USDA a plus.
$60,000 annual salary
