- Order the following property and loan documentation as necessary for each file: verification of employment, evidence of insurance, payoffs, tax transcripts, credit supplements, condo questionnaires, subordination requests, and title work to ensure a smooth loan process
- Check in with clients and underwriters regularly to make sure loan documentation is completed so closing dates and company deadlines are met.
- Develops and maintains contacts with local realtors, developers, and builders to promote and encourage the use of bank services for Residential Mortgages.
- Based on predetermined requirements, assesses, and grants or rejects mortgage applications.
- Handle the loan pipeline and ensure an efficient and compliant flow throughout the loan process.
- Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval.
- Provide comprehensive loan packages for the mortgage underwriters so they can give their approval or denial. Work with underwriters and borrowers to resolve outstanding issues that arise.
- Preforms other duties assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Mortgage background is preferred.
The Residential Mortgage Loan Processor is an essential part of The Piedmont Bank. The Mortgage Loan Processor will initiate the mortgage process for potential clients, preparing, analyzing, and verifying Mortgage Loan applications for the purchase or refinance of real estate.
