Job Title: Resident Services Coordinator
Supervisor: Property Manager
The Resident Service Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, supervising and
monitoring the Resident Services programs. As well as the day to day volunteer coordination and assisting
with position related administrative tasks as assigned by the Property Manager. Some of the key
responsibilities are assessing community needs, establishing roles for resident’s outcome, creating a positive
collaboration between residents and property management. Also, by creating shared expectations and
protocols. The primary focus of this position is the quality of life of the residents to assist them in achieving
“their best day”.

Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain client information for all participants in the program
- Plan, coordinate, organize and participate in all resident events
- Complete monthly newsletters and reports
- Communicate effectively with families
- Maintain a good working relationship with site property management and staff by representing TPI
Management Services, LLC in a professional and responsible manner.
- Maintain and account for the petty cash fund and submit all receipts for monies spent monthly
- Keep sufficient supplies available to successfully implement the onsite program
- Complete all required administrative reports and adhere to all established administrative timelines for
processing this paperwork
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the Resident Services office
- Be available and present at the office site to maintain posted hours of operation when other meetings
are not scheduled
- Create systems to document and assess resident needs, including reviewing community data,
conducting resident surveys and focus groups
- Assisting with implementing, designing and maintaining a resident retention program by bringing the
community together, i.e., newsletter, resident referral program or social activities
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Educational Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Successful completion (or willingness to complete within 90 days) of the 40 hour Introductory Child
Care Training course certified by the Department of Children and Families within one year of
position appointment.
- Successful completion (or willingness to complete within 90 days) of the 10 hour Elementary School
course certified by the Department of Children and Families,
- Successful completion (or willingness to complete within 90 days) of child care First Aide/CPR
training
Experience Requirements
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner suitable for
interaction with customers, clients, co-workers and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with
tenants, co-workers and management team.
- Ability to use Word, Excel, other Microsoft Office Suite programs and the ability to navigate on the
internet
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Florida driver’s license, ability to drive, dependable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check completed by the Department of Children and Families
- Willing to travel to different properties to help implement Resident Services
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May sometimes be exposed to activity that requires standing, bending, squatting pushing/pulling, and
lifting/moving/carrying (items weighing on average up to 35 pounds), in addition to walking the
property and climbing stairs.
MENTAL DEMANDS
- Excellent communication skills in English for safety and productivity reasons.
- Common sense understanding to follow instructions and plans.
- Independent judgment to determine actions, priorities and emergencies.
- Able to deal with moderate to high levels of stress.

- Will be exposed to an outdoor environment which could consist of heat, cold, dampness, rain, etc.
Licenses/Equipment
- Valid active driver’s license with current active automobile insurance is required; position requires
personal vehicle to fulfill some of the job’s functions.
Attendance/Travel
- Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Our property staffing
limitation makes it critical for you to work your scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime if
necessary when requested.
- Ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary.
- Ability to travel to attend various company gatherings either in the general vicinity or your property,
or in another state.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
