Responsibilities of a Resident Service Coordinator:

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to provide a supportive and positive environment for long-term care residents.
• Effectively coordinate internal processes to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between various departments within the nursing home.
• Foster meaningful interactions with long-term care residents, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges related to customer service, working towards swift and effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions and service coordination activities.

Qualifications of a Resident Service Coordinator:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer service roles, especially within a healthcare or long-term care setting, is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
• Must be available for flexible working hours as necessary.
• Outstanding personal and customer service skills with a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with the needs of long-term care residents and provide compassionate support.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to adapt to the unique challenges and dynamics of a long-term care environment.
