- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents
- Manage property leasing and rental agreements, including tenant screening, lease negotiations, and move-in/move-out processes
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, rent payments, and maintenance requests
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints
- Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
- Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure compliance with applicable housing laws and regulations, including Section 8 requirements
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, rental income, expenses, and maintenance activities for management review
```Requirements```
- Proven experience in Section 8 property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of leasing procedures, contract negotiation, and legal requirements related to residential properties
- Proficiency in using property management software or Shofcorp for data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively interact with residents, staff members, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of facilities management principles is preferred but not required
