The Sundrud lab at DHMC seeks to hire a new postdoctoral research fellow to support their growing NIH-funded portfolio. This postdoctoral position in the lab will seek applicants with backgrounds in mucosal immunology, including but not limited to host-microbe-bile acid interactions in the gut. The successful candidate will contribute to research that supports three active NIH-funded projects plus one pending NIH (program project grant) application.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of experiments and project activities.
- Train and supervise project assistants, students and other partners and project staff as required.
- Monitor grants activities, funding and expenditures budgeted under contracts and purchased services.
- Oversee data management, reporting and project communication with partners, sponsors & governmental agencies as appropriate.
- Assist in proposal writing, and participates in development of papers and presentations.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- PhD in a related field required
- All requirements for degree, including dissertation defense, must be completed prior to start date.
- Must exhibit excellent quantitative skills as well as good English writing and verbal skills
