- Primary responsibilities will include developing viable mechanical or electrical systems and component designs based on project requirements and specifications. Produces and supervises the associated engineering drawings and schematics for use in the fabrication and assembly of complex engineering hardware and devices. Reviews and checks engineering drawings produced by others for adherence to technical specifications and requirements. Works with CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) (SolidEdge and/or ProE) Mechanical design software or OrCAD electrical design software. Demonstrates design experience with high-reliability instruments and works closely with engineers of other disciplines to develop systems.
- Other responsibilities will include general support for the multi-disciplinary engineering team, in areas such as reviewing and checking engineering drawings produced by others for adherence to technical specifications and requirements.
- Supervises/mentors less experienced engineers and student employees on projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
(Annual Salary: $77,640 - $126,170)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
STEM related degree preferred and U.S. Citizenship is required.
