The Role
The Research & Development Lab Technician will support a Research and Development team under the direction of the Senior Research Chemist, Project Lead. This role will perform work and procedures applying basic laboratory techniques, calculations, materials measurement, operation of laboratory equipment, and record-keeping necessary to support the R&D team. This role will also follow detailed instructions for assigned tasks or projects.
Core Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Sample and solution preparation
- Sample organization and tracking
- Laboratory cleaning and organization
- Assisting management in the planning and implementation of projects
- Data entry
- Laboratory safety and maintenance activities
- Working with and maintaining supply vendor relationships
- Waste disposal
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands of this job are consistent with working in a wet-laboratory setting. Requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2- 4 years experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar
- OR Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proven project execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interpret and communicate information to share within and across teams
- Time management skills
- Innovative thinking mindset with great problem-solving skills
- Go-getter attitude

- Salary Range: $52,000 to $60,000 Based on Experience
