The College of Education & Human Development is seeking to hire a Research Coordinator II (Sponsor Funded Professional) to provide support to the Center For Evaluation and Research departmentat Georgia State University. This position was created for the Connecting Minority Communities Project funded through Atlanta Technical College.
The Center for Evaluation and Research Services improves the educational and developmental experiences of students, teachers and other program clients by providing program evaluation and research services to local, state, national and international agencies and educational institutions.
Established in 2014, the Center currently conducts evaluation activities with multiple funded activities at Georgia State University and with school systems and nonprofit organizations located in counties throughout the state. The Center provides evaluation services in accordance with the need of its client, including advanced quantitative analysis and multiple qualitative approaches.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Research Coordinator II (Sponsor Funded Professional) will schedule, assist and conduct individual and group interviews with Connecting Minority Communities participants, both virtual and in-person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Transcribe and analyze data; write report based on the data collected from interviews and focus groups, per a schedule to be set up with the Supervisor.
- Meet regularly with project leaders to review activities and plan future activities.
- Meet and interact with Atlanta Technical College staff to obtain data for completion of federal reports.
- Assist with completing annual report for funding agency.
SPONSOR FUNDED:
***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding. Limited Term (2 years).
Qualifications
Master's degree in assigned research area; or a combination of education and related experience.
