Physical Requirements:Work is primarily office and desk, computer-based but will include walking around medical center and working in patient areas.
Shift:Monday – Friday, day shift (evenings and weekends rarely needed).
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Managing research projects; maintaining records; producing reports
- Recruiting subjects and obtaining consents for research studies / clinical trials.
- Obtaining and maintaining IRB approval for research projects
- Helping to secure new research funding by identifying grant and clinical trial opportunities
- Helping to write and publish scientific / medical articles; helping write grant applications
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills; well organized, experience with producing reports and/or publications.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :No
Preferred Education/Experience:ACRP or SOCRA certification required at the time of hire. Experience in research, especially human subjects research highly preferred.
