The Role
In this role, you will support the analytical development of Moderna’s mRNA-based clinical pipeline.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Become proficient in a wide range of biophysical analysis methods
Perform and develop biophysical and particle characterization assays
Develop and transfer analytical methods with high-quality documentation
Perform data analysis and trending
Maintain a high standard of documentation and report writing
Collaborate with functional partners
Implement and apply novel analytical biophysical methods
Present and interpret results at internal meetings
Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelors in biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering or a related discipline with 0-2 years of relevant industry experience
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Technical experience in the following areas is desirable: Biopharmaceutical analysis, protein science, physical biochemistry, analytical chemistry, nanoparticle characterization
Basic laboratory capabilities, such as pipetting and buffer preparation
Experience with biophysical techniques is desirable (e.g. spectroscopy, particle sizing, calorimetry, light scattering)
Exceptional oral communication skills
Ability to effectively document and communicate results
Strong interpersonal skills with an eagerness to support colleagues across the organization and a demonstrated aptitude for team and employee development
Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
