Research Associate

``Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree - BS in Biological/Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry or related field

Experience: Min. 2 years

Knowledge, Skills or Ability:
Strong analytical ability.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Very good organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
Knowledge of basic laboratory skills (e.g. pipetting, sterile technique)
Experience with handling and purifying nucleic acids and proteins.
Experience with assay or technology development.
Familiarity with next-generation sequencing platforms, PCR, automated liquid handling systems.
Ability to work safely within the lab and take appropriate actions to ensure lab safety.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen ability to listen to directions and company goals and execute them effectively.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.`

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
